RAPID CITY, SD – With nearly 600 participants from 11 states, the 4th Annual Rushmore Cup will give Black Hills area residents their hockey fix from May 30th to June 2nd and June 6th through the 9th at the Rushmore Plaza and Roosevelt Ice Arenas. Players from Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming will be taking part in the tournament. The 40 teams participating will make this year’s event the largest Rushmore Cup ever.

Besides playing in the tournament, players and families from outside of the immediate area will be visiting the Black Hill’s many tourist attractions.

A major highlight of the tournament will be the Opening Ceremonies, where the players will walk into the Rushmore Plaza Arena with the rest of the teams from their state, alongside the Visit Rapid City Mascots.

From Thursday through Sunday each week the teams will play five games with all of the division championship games concluding with the Award Ceremony in the meeting room at the Rushmore Plaza Arena. The schedule will be posted soon at nhgtournaments.com.
