4 additional COVID-19 deaths reported in North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Four more people have died from COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the total number of deaths to 65.

State health officials said Tuesday the victims were in their 60s, 80s and 90s and all four were from Cass County and had underlying health conditions. The Department of Health said another 22 people have tested positive for the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,646.

Cass County, which remains the epicenter of the state’s coronavirus outbreak, has 18 additional cases. Thirty-four people are currently hospitalized with the virus, down one from Monday.
