Vendors and volunteers working through Thursday to make sure everything is ready to go for this weekend

If you and your kids are looking for something to do this weekend, Youth & Family Services is setting up for a big weekend at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

Youth & Family Services will be holding their 24th annual Kids Fair event.

Games, gadgets, obstacle courses, inflatable moon bounces and inflatable slides are all being set up for this weekend.

Tickets are only $5 bucks at the door, and you’ll be helping the community by attending.

Brianna Nelson, the communications coordinator for Youth & Family Services explains,

“It’s one of the largest fundraisers for Youth & Family Services that we do each year. So all the of the proceeds that come from Kids Fair go back into supporting kids and families in our community, through the programs and services provided by Youth & Family Services.”

Many companies and vendors will be attending the event, and there will be a variety of different activities for kids of all ages.

On average, nearly 10,000 individuals attend this event each year.

“I like to say that It’s an event for kids and family that supports other kids and family,” Nelson continued. “It’s a great, safe, exciting place to come visit with your child. Kids get to run around, have a good time, do lots of hands-on activities.”

The event starts Friday and goes into Saturday and Sunday. It will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
