1st annual Holiday Marketplace Pop Up

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The first ever Holiday Marketplace Pop Up held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center took place on Saturday.

Over 80 vendors set up for the marketplace which brought in over 2,000 people throughout the day.

The first 100 customers received gift cards ranging from $100-$500.

Organizer Rochelle White said “First and foremost for me, my mission is to connect small businesses with the community and that’s why I started doing events. I wanted a place for local businesses, crafters, entrepreneurs to come and set up and have an opportunity to showcase what they really do.”

This was the first year of the event but White says they are going to be back next year with more booths set up in the Don Barnett Arena.
