110 new Wyoming COVID-19 cases, 21 new deaths reported Friday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Friday, the Wyoming Department of Health reported 21 new coronavirus-related deaths in the state, bringing the total number of deaths to 571.

The deaths were reported in the following counties: five in Laramie County, four in Big Horn County, two each in Fremont, Sweetwater, and Uinta Counties, and one each in Converse, Crook, Hot Springs, Natrona, Park, and Washakie Counties.

The department of health also reported 110 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 43,151.

1,254 cases are considered active in the state, a decrease of 197 from Thursday.

An additional 286 people have recovered from the virus. The total number of recoveries is now 41,326.

The following counties reported new cases:

  • Sheridan County – eight cases
  • Crook County – two cases
