11 PHOTOS AND HIGHLIGHTS: Hot Springs boys overcome a double-digit deficit to beat Belle Fourche
BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – The Hot Springs Bison boys basketball team recently defeated Faith to win the West River Basketball Tournament.
With the victory, the Bison improved to 8-0 on the season.
The Bison are now just one of just six undefeated teams still remaining in Class ‘A’.
Hot Springs kept its perfect record intact on Monday, as the Bison defeated the Belle Fourche Broncs 55-51.
Hot Springs fell behind by 10 points midway through the second quarter.
But after that, the Bison outscored the Broncs 45-31 to earn the hard-fought victory.
Hot Springs improves to 9-0 on the season and will host Lead-Deadwood on Saturday, Jan. 21 to kick off a seven-game homestand.
Meanwhile, Belle Fourche falls to 5-3.
The Broncs return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 17 with a home game against the Hill City Rangers.
