Nails on road cause $10K damage; police ask for help


Box Elder police are asking the public for help as they try to stop objects from being thrown into the road and causing damage.

Nails and other objects are reportedly being thrown into the roadway in the 700 block of Line Road. Since the beginning of the year, police have received more than 25 complaints.

Damage to cars and to the road is estimated at over $10,000.

The Box Elder Police Department is offering a $250 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of whoever is responsible.
