High School Basketball: RC Christian girls holds on to beat Crazy Horse

Posted: Updated:
RAPID CITY, S.D. -

The Rapid City Christian girls basketball team has struggled this season mainly because of the team's youth and inexperience.

In fact, the Comets only have one senior and two juniors on the squad.

Rapid City Christian is hoping to finish the regular season strong before the Region 8A Tournament starts on February 20.

The Comets squared off against Crazy Horse on Monday night.

Skylar Armendariz scored 14 points to lead the Comets over the Lady Chiefs, 46-42.

Mary Standing Soldier led Crazy Horse with 13 points.
