State capitol flags ordered at half-staff for former SD senator

Gov. Dennis Daugaard is ordering flags to fly half-staff at the state capitol on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 to honor the life of former state Sen. Robert L. ‘Bob’ Miller.

Miller, of Kimball, represented his district in the South Dakota Senate from 1971 to 1974.

Miller was 80 years old and passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at the St. Margaret Catholic Church in Kimball.
