    This Saturday, June 23, the Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation presents the 3rd annual Kenadi’s Karnival & Silent Auction Fundraiser. The carnival was created in honor of Kenadi who passed away unexpectedly at age five. Due to an anoxic brain injury at birth, Kenadi was non-verbal and confined to a wheelchair. The funds will go toward an inclusive playground where kids of all physical abilities and conditions can have fun.

    City parks officials advise that the bike path in Rapid City is open for business again. All barricades have been removed, including the bridge under crossing areas at Mount Rushmore Road and Canyon Lake Drive. They warn there is some water in these areas but have determined it is not restrictive for travel purposes.

RAPID CITY, S.D. -

The Kadoka Area volleyball team finished the regular season on a high note Monday night with a win over Rapid City Christian in straight sets.

The Kougars now enter the playoffs with record of 24-3. In fact, Kadoka hasn't lost a match since September 9.

Meanwhile, Rapid City Christian falls to 19-8 on the season. The Comets wrap up the regular season on Tuesday night at home against the Bison Cardinals.
