RAPID CITY, S.D. - A man is confirmed dead after a rollover accident late Wednesday afternoon, where West Omaha Street crosses Rapid Creek.

According to Rapid City Fire Department Lt. Jim Bussell, the four-door car was traveling eastbound on West Chicago Street when he collided with two other vehicles. Police say the driver continued onto West Omaha Street at a fast rate of speed before leaving the road and landing beneath a bridge near Rapid Creek.

No one else was injured as a result of the crash. Westbound traffic on West Omaha was temporarily diverted.

The Rapid City Police Department is still investigating the matter.

Bussell explained the latest information in a Facebook Live with NewsCenter1 (below).
