PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Marty Jackley and Aurora County States Attorney John Steele announced on Wednesday that a Plankinton man has pleaded guilty to sex charges for actions against a child.

Robert Lincoln Will, 35, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted first-degree rape, class 2 felony, punishable by up to 25 years imprisonment and/or $50,000 fine, and one count of sexual contact with a child under 16, class 3 felony, punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment and/or $30,000 fine.

A sentencing date has been scheduled for Nov. 22.

This case was investigated by the Aurora County Sheriff’s Office.
