BOX ELDER, S.D. -

A year ago, the Custer volleyball team was unstoppable. The Wildcats rolled through the regular season with a 32-0 record and they were 9-0 in conference play.

But this year is a different story. After losing 10 seniors to graduation, Custer has only won three out its first eight matches.

However, Custer snapped a three-match losing streak on Tuesday night with a win over Douglas.

The Wildcats brought their power game and a balanced attack to sweep the Patriots 25-20, 25-18 and 25-22.
