Pro Hill Climb attracts national racers

Like many rallies, the history of the Sturgis Rally is steeped in motorcycle racing, a tradition the Jackpine Gypsies strive to keep alive.

The group continues to host races every year ranging from the traditional vintage flat track to the ever-popular pro hill climbs.

A large crowd gathered Friday at the Jackpine Gypsies Clubgrounds for the final event of the week, the Pro Hill Climb.

Jay Jelinek  -  16.36 seconds

251-450 Class

Austin Teyler  -  166 feet
