Inferno Pizza donating proceeds to Naja Shriners for National Pi Day

Posted: Updated:

RAPID CITY, S.D. - March 14, is National Pi Day, and we aren’t talking about apple or pumpkin. National Pi Day celebrates the mathematical Greek symbol representing the number, 3.14159. To celebrate, Inferno Pizza, Food by Fire, will be donating proceeds from each pizza sold to the Naja Shriners.

For every pizza purchased, Inferno will donate $3.14 to the Naja Shriners Hospital for Children, toward their transportation fund. Shriners treats children for various conditions and transfers them to Minneapolis and Chicago.

“The goal of the Shriners is to raise money for Shriner's Hospital for children and treat children of the many bad things that can happen to them: orthopedic problems, burns, clef palate, all of those types of things. This money is used for the hospital fund to transfer those children over Minneapolis and Chicago for treatment," said Tim Rensch, the potentate for Naja Shriners.

Inferno Pizza is located inside the Common Sense Gas Station located right off Highway 44 en route to the Rapid City Regional Airport.

A recent local fundraiser in Nemo also raised money for the Naja Shriners Hospital for Children. DETAILS HERE.
