Second Half Rally Lifts Hardrockers over Wildcats: Kulas Finished with 23 Points

The South Dakota Mines men's basketball team opened the season last weekend with two tough losses against Texas A & M International and Texas A & M Kingsville.
However, there were a few bright spots for the Hardrockers.
Senior Konor Kulas is off to a great start averaging 24 points per game.
The Hardrockers returned to Goodell Gymnasium Friday night for their home opener.
South Dakota Mines entertained Johnson and Wales University from Denver.

The Wildcats led by as many as 13 in the first half.

But the Hardrockers offense turned it on in the second half and beat Johnson and Wales, 81-75.

Konor Kulas led SD Mines with a double-double.

The senior scored 23 points and came down with 11 rebounds.

The Hardrockers will host Grace University on Saturday at 4 p.m.
