Authorities say one person from the Hells Angels and one person from the Mongols motorcycle clubs went to the hospital after an altercation took place Wednesday.

One person was treated and released. The other was kept overnight for observation.

The altercation took place at the Hells Angels Club House on Third Street in Sturgis.

Several people were detained.

Charges have been requested for George James Caruso and Mark Duclos, both members of the Hells Angels, for assault.

Jim Bush, the police chief of Sturgis, says, "There was several people detained and interviewed. And I was told there is charges requested on two people, one George James Caruso for simple assault, and Mark Duclos for aggravated assault."
