Show at the Dahl Supports the Disabled

The Dahl Arts Center is featuring a new show that's focused on faces and the future.

At the show, there is wide variety of faces, each designed by an artist at the Black Hills Workshop's "Suzie Cappa Center for Art Expression."

There are a total of 67 Styrofoam heads that complete the show called "Face Ahead."

Twenty-four artists worked on creating the collection for the past two years, each drawing from a different form of inspiration.

"We named the show Face Ahead looking at people with disabilities, and thinking that people need to look ahead in their life and not look back and hold your head high, and look forward in life and look at your abilities and not your disabilities," says Brad A. Winter of the Black Hills Workshop.

The show will be on display until Oct. 4, 2010, and visitors have the chance to meet the artists at the Dahl Art Center Friday until 7:00 p.m.
