Fire Near Hermosa

Firefighters from area agencies are rushing to a wildfire near Hermosa and Highway 40.

Details are sketchy, but an estimated 30-acres are burning.

About three structures are in the path.  It's unknown what type of structures though.

The call came in just before 4:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Witnesses say a plane is flying over the area, flames are billowing into the air, and there is a dark cloud of smoke above that fire that can be seen up to a mile and a half away.
