Good news for those of you who love fresh produce, but don't always have cash on hand: the Farmer’s Market at Founders Park now accepts credit cards.
The stands of fresh produce and flowers have set up a system where you can pay for goods with your debit or credit cards.
Customers can now pay for the products from every stand at one location.
Vendors say this makes selling produce much easier for all the stands at the market and they say it will bring in more business.
"A lot of people are driving by and they are like 'Oh, I want to go there but I don't have any cash.' So that allows the ability for them to be able to get stuff," says Larry Lesher of Battlecreek Gardens.
The Farmer's Market is at Founder's Park off Omaha Street in Rapid City.
It’s open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
