Tea Plane Crash

The pilot of a single-engine airplane has died in a crash east of the Lincoln County Airport in Tea.

Terry Anderson of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says the plane took off from the airport about 8 P.M. Friday and soon experienced engine trouble.  It crashed into a corn field about a half mile away.

Anderson says the man piloting the plane died in the crash.  He's been identified as Tate Baloun of Sioux Falls.

No one else was on board.
