Fatal Accident Near Lead

A Wyoming man died in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 85 about five miles south of Lead on Thursday morning.
Fifty-five-year-old Steven Macziewski of Newcastle, Wyoming died when the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving crossed the centerline on a curve, slid into the ditch, and rolled down an embankment, striking a tree. The driver was thrown from the vehicle during the rollover.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
