An early morning car crash in north Rapid City sent two people to the hospital. The accident happened around 6:45 A.M. Saturday morning at the intersection of Haines Avenue and Mall Drive.
According to the police, a Dodge Durango driven by Lisa Rodriguez of Rapid City failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by Amanda Williamson, also of Rapid City.
Two people in the Durango were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Rodriguez was arrested for driving under the influence and vehicular battery.
The crash remains under investigation.
