Severe flooding is causing problems across South Dakota.
In the southeastern part of the state the river has risen to cover roads and street signs throughout the region. Forecasters say it’s only going to get worse as the Vermillion River hasn't even hit its crest yet.
Many homeowners say they feel helpless and are just ready to begin the rebuilding process.
People in Fargo North Dakota are also preparing for the Red River to crest Saturday.
