Faster Internet Speeds for Knology Customers

Knology customers may notice faster speeds the next time they're online.
On Monday night, the internet provider implemented its upgrade to bandwidth speeds of up to 50 megabytes per second and that can have a huge impact on customers.
For local businesses, Knology representatives say this could mean higher productivity and security, but at what cost?
Tony Palermo, the Vice President of Marketing, says, "It's a significant investment but well worth it. This investment however is not being passed on to our customers. The upgrade is a free upgrade to both our consumers and business customers, and in some cases we are doubling the download speed and quadrupling the upload speed, but that's part of the table stakes to do business in a competitive environment."
Tony Palermo says customers can expect to download 30 minute movies in as little as five minutes. The upgrade is now complete for all customers in the Black Hills area.
