After nearly three hours of testimony Amber Solay was sentenced to 180 days in the state penitentiary for kidnapping her children back in July.
Solay is charged with a class five felony; taking children by a parent. In November she plead guilty to taking her children ages six and eight over seas without telling her husband at the time.
Solay was given a five year suspended sentence but will serve about 100 days in Pierre with time served.
