Douglas entertained Rapid City Stevens Friday night in the District Four AA third place game.  This was the first meeting of the year between these two clubs.

The patriots came in 9-11 on the year while the raiders were 4-17. Stevens prevailed by a final of 70-54, so Stevens still has a chance to qualify for the State Tourney and the Patriots are eliminated.

White River and Jones County battled it out for the boys District 13-B title Friday night. White river won 78-56.  And Wall traveled to Philip to take on the Scotties in the District 14-B Championship game.  Wall defeated Philip 52-50 in OT.

In District 15-B Wakpala upset McIntosh by a score of 57-44.  Also, faith ran away with the district 16-b title.

It was the Longhorns over the Bison by 21 final score, 62-41.

Two more teams qualified for the State A Girls Basketball Tournament next week.

In Region 7-A, it was Stickney-Mt. Vernon over Little Wound, 58-49.

Meanwhile, Mobridge-Pollock surprised Crow Creek by 9, final score 72-63.
