Even on a rainy, gloomy day you can tell spring is just around the corner, and with spring comes daffodils.
Each year the American Cancer Society celebrates spring and spreads hope with the yellow flowers. By sending daffodils to friends or coworkers, you are helping the organization with cancer research.
Heidi Hershly of the ACS said, "It's a really easy way to give back and it's not also giving back it's also giving hope. And that’s the real message here; the daffodil is the flower of hope."
You can start ordering your daffodils now, the program ends March 19. You can call the American Cancer Society at 605-399-2048.
