Counts Car Show

The weekend of March 6th is the eleventh annual "Counts Car Show" and the theme this year is "A Salute to the Military," entry costs will be reduced for those in the military and a special salute will be given at the award ceremony on Saturday night.

The action at the Civic Center began early Friday morning.  News Center 1 stopped by to catch the proud car owners buffing, adjusting, and taking care of all of the last minute details on their vehicles.

The weekend car show announcer says for the owners of the classics, car shows can become a way of life.

Kurt Designer, of Counts Car Show said, “There's a TV show on another channel, it's called 'Car Crazy' and pretty much that's what the people are they eat and sleep cars."

Tickets to the event are $8.50, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to several local charities.
