Minimum Unit Inmate Dies

A 52-year-old inmate at the Rapid City Minimum Unit has died at a local hospital.

The South Dakota Department of Corrections identified the inmate as Bruce King, who was serving a two-year sentence for third-offense driving while intoxicated out of Meade County.

King died Saturday.

Details of his death have not been released.  An autopsy has been ordered.
