Transportation Taxes Resurface

A State Senate panel has killed a proposed increase in the gas tax and other highway taxes.
But the sponsor of the measure says he might try to bring it back.
Transportation officials estimate the state and local governments need an additional $240 million to maintain South Dakota's roads.
