Downtown Rapid City is hosting the Veterans’ Day parade Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m.

The American Red Cross will be there to support area veterans and will give community members a chance to offer their thanks as well.

Cards will be on display on the corner of 6th and Main Street during the parade.

Once signed, the two cards are going to troops at Camp Rapid and Ellsworth.

Betsy Mergenthal with the American Red Cross says, "For people in the community to come out and sign them to wish our troops a happy holidays and to thank them for the work that they do."

If you can't make it to the parade Wednesday to sign the cards they will be on display at the Red Cross office until Dec.
