Gubernatorial Candidate Dave Knudson Focusing on Economy

The prime sponsor of the smoking ban, who also happens to be running for governor, agrees with Governor Rounds.  Senator Dave Knudson thinks the issue will indeed eventually end up on the ballot.

But, the Republican candidate says South Dakota's main concern is still the economy.

“I think we're in for a challenging two or three year period so the governor is going to have to really be focused on growing the economy and job creation.”

Knudson is from Sioux Falls, but plans on visiting the Black Hills once a month during his gubernatorial campaign.
