1 + 1 Winner
Getting a classroom full of students to sit still all day can be a challenge.
This week our one plus one winner is hoping to channel energy in a positive way.
Barb Knapp teaches second grade at Meadowbrook Elementary, she says students this age need to wiggle because their sensory systems are still developing.
So, having the ability to move while sitting on a wiggle seat not only helps aid in the development of children's central nervous system but it allows for alertness and attention for kids to stay on task.
