Businesses Raided for Selling Synthetic Marijuana

Arrest search warrants were served at Classified hookah and Ifrits hookah lounge.

The search resulted in arrests and seizure of large amounts of synthetic marijuana and bath salts.

Arrests were made for the possession sale or distribution of certain substances for the purpose of intoxication as a class one misdemeanor.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.    

And say those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

In Deadwood, police say the raid on Pam’s Purple Door resulted in the seizure of more than $12,000 in cash and thousands of packages of synthetic marijuana and stimulants.

Chief Kelly Fuller says officers have been monitoring the store for years.

Authorities say the couple who owns the store are behind bars on drug-related charges, and other charges are pending.

It’s not immediately clear if they've hired an attorney.
